The governor of Jubbaland state Ahmed Mohamed Islam who was among the leaders attending the Istanbul conference in Turkey had spoken about the operation of Kenya’s airstrikes, shortly after the al-Shabab’s attack in El Adde, that bombed the civilians locations in Gedo may resulted mass killings of people and animals–saying that its baseless and wartime propaganda.
“Only three people died during the war in El Adde,” Said Ahmed adding that these people did not even die under the operation of Kenya’s airstrikes.
The Diasporas have greatly exaggerated the issues, Ahmed said as he calls them to stop spreading the rumors.
