Mogadishu, July 4, 2020: The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, HE Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, has received Chinese Ambassador to Somalia Qin Jian.
The President and the Ambassador discussed the importance of strengthening the historical relationship between the two countries and the two peoples in Somalia and China.
In addition, the two countries have strengthened their unified stance on respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Somalia and China.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo shared with Ambassador Qin Jian that Somalia respects the unity of China’s friendly country.
For their part, the Chinese government shared with the President his opposition to Taiwan’s violation of Somali sovereignty and territorial sovereignty.
The Chinese ambassador reiterated his commitment to maintaining the sovereignty and unity of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
