Intense Targeted Operations Conducted in Bay, Lower Shabelle, and Middle Jubba Regions
Intense and well-coordinated operations were carried out in several areas within the Bay, Lower Shabelle, and Middle Jubba regions, targeting Al-Shabaab bases and high-ranking officials.
1.First Attack – Lower Shabelle (Kunya-Barrow) The initial operation took place in Kunya-Barrow district, where large explosives were detonated at a site housing numerous Al-Shabaab fighters. The explosions caused significant casualties among the militants present.
2.Second Attack – Xaramka District, Lower Shabelle Another planned operation occurred in Xaramka district, targeting Al-Shabaab commando forces who were training new recruits. Heavy losses were inflicted on the training unit.
3.Third Attack – Jilib (Waaberi Neighborhood) In Jilib district, specifically the Waaberi neighborhood, a residence where senior officials were meeting to discuss operations in Lower Jubba was targeted. Among the top officials killed were:

– Lugadhere
– Maxamad Luuq Jelow
– Aadan Gure
1. **Fourth Attack – Bulafulay, Bay Region** Another targeted operation took place in Bulafulay district, focusing on senior security officials. Those killed included:
-Banadir Region Security Commander, Sheikh Xasan Aabu Naasir (Abu Kamaal)
– Al-Shabaab Security Commander, Sheikh Abdirisaaq Abu Ayuub, recently appointed to the position
Several other key members of the group were also injured.
