Arab League Secretary-General condemns Somalia terror attack

Ahmed Abul-Gheit, Arab League Secretary-General, has condemned the attack perpetrated by the terrorist Somali Al-Shabab group, targeting the military convoy of the newly-appointed Somali Armed Forces Commander, Brigadier-General Mohamed Ahmed Jamali, leaving scores of people dead and injured.

In a statement issued yesterday, Mr. Abul-Gheit reiterated the commitment of the Arab League to support the efforts of the Somali Government to maintain security and stability in the country and develop the capabilities of its security and military forces, as announced by President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed of Somalia.
