Mogadishu terrorist attack condemned

The United Arab Emirates has condemned the terrorist attack on a hotel and restaurant in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, that killed 19 people and injured 30 others.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on Friday expressed its deep condemnation of the terrorist attack, stressing the UAE’s solidarity with the government and people of Somalia “in the face of terrorism, which targets the security and stability.”

The ministry extended its condolences to the government and people of Somalia, as well as to the families of the victims. It also wished speedy recovery to the injured.
