A shaky normalcy has returned to Dhusamareb, a key town in central Somalia after a deadly fighting that left scores of people, including civilians dead on Wednesday.
The self-declared interim central regions administration (formally Ahlu Sunna) are fully controlling the town following Wednesday’s battle with Liban Madaxweyne’s loyalists.
Business is back to normal and running, with reports that local troops are visible patrolling the streets of Dhusamareb, the regional capital of Somalia’s central Galgaduud province.
